How To Conquer Challenging Vertical Applications Using LIQUID NAILS

Installing vertical materials can sometimes be a challenge, especially when physical fasteners are not easily used. Construction adhesives are an alternative solution because they can successfully bond many substrates.

We recommend using LIQUID NAILS Ultra Qwik Grip (LN-990) for adhering to porous surfaces, or LIQUID NAILS FUZE*IT All Surface Construction Adhesive (LN-2000) for most surfaces to get your vertical material intact.

Applications Ideal for Fast-Grab Adhesives

Helpful Fast-Grab Tips:

Step 1.

Surfaces must be clean, dry and structurally sound.

Step 2.

Cut and pre-fit materials prior to installation.

Step 3.

Apply a 1/4-inch continuous line (bead) of adhesive to your surface.

Step 4.

Push the material into place and hold for 5 to 10 seconds. Heavier items may need to be taped or braced in place overnight. Allow at least 24 hours before caulking any edges.
